Beirut To Take Part In Global Future Shorts Film Festival!

Are you an avid film lover? Do you enjoy off beat movies that can stir your senses and offer what the main stream cinema industry cannot? Then we have the event that’s right for you!

Head out on August 29th to take part in an effort to unite global stories with global audiences.

Hosted by MINUS 5, an independent cultural platform and multi-use exhibition and events venue located in the industrial area of Mkalles, the event will showcase talents and filmmakers from around the world in what can only be described as an avant-garde short films experience.

Future Shorts, as the festival has been dubbed, puts together a feature-length program of some of the best classic, cult and award-winning short films from around the world.

It aims to build a powerful world-wide film community, garnering the participation of 90 countries and almost 325 cities thus far.

The idea behind Future Cinema is creating an immersive experience in which the audience becomes part of the narrative. It’s about creating a social cinema experience where the audience can connect with each other online and at the event- Fabien Riggal, Founder of Future Shorts
